Annual XLB 2011!

Almido's Annual XLB concluded yet with another HAPPY NOTE! Hahah, it was an awesome tactic to have told everyone that the meeting time was at 7pm, cos by 730pm (when the dinner actually commenced), EVERYONE was present! the turnout for this year was 12 huoniaos- not too bad for a XLB outing 3rd year and running(: 4 seniors, 8 juniors; 6 guys 6 girls! Kudos to everyone- bernard, soonwen, weelin, margaret, joel, russel, tj, YSL, sy & ht for adding on to so much fun! =D

We sat at our dining tables from the start till the end, until they chased us away =D. With tummies full with xiao long baos, and round with prawns, dumplings, fishballs, pork, chicken, beef slices and what not, we headed down to Cold Stone for a chit-chatty session over ice cream (which wasnt that fabulous).

It was quite a pity we didn't play 'puch-obby-obby'- we'll save that for the next outing yep! *winks! nevertheless, margart came up with an awesomely entertaining game which showed us that we have really bad spellers in almido. for one, margaret was certain that 'simile' started with 'sm---', and russel's 'leopard' with a 'lep---'. We also witnessed several instances of generation gap, with soonwen shouting out 'Warhammer' (or so spelt and sounded that way), with everyone else thinking 'Warcraft'. LOL!

For those who wouldnt make it for the outing, we really wished you had been there! Remember to join us the next time yep! =D

A random post after a pretty long while

Hey almido,

The almido blog just chanced upon me today. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of any updates, but I saw my own old post dated 31 May 2012. Hahah, I've got a feeling people still read but don't update them. Busy I suppose?

It's been quite some time since tj, ht and sy officially left school. Congrats girls! oh, I nearly forgot to mention the only guy graduate, YSL! ahhah! happy commencement (: Still another year or so for the rest of us, so hang in there everyone!

Though almido aint meeting up as often as when all of us were still in school, it's good to know that we are still very close spiritually. LOL. i can totally feel it! and absence makes the heart grow fonder no? =D anyway some highlights along the way. Kudos to joel for finding a gf! LOL almido hasnt seen her face-to-face yet, but I bet she must be some quite awesome lady, hearing all those sweet stories from joel (: Let's hope to meet jl real soon yeah. (p/s: hint hint joel! plus, joel you seem to have a great time of your life just looking at your pictures! that's the way man! =D woots)

OLs aka working ladies! (yes TJ, you are an OL too) ahhaha, i hope work's greatly berable! hahah the first few months/year there prolly would be a real steep learning curve so all the best getting equipped with all those skills yeah! remember you still have a life outside work! you still have almido!

Those in school, it's pretty boring aint it? oh man, i seriously hate eating lunches alone, studying alone, and i dunnoe, doing everything alone. haix. it's depressing at times. but then again, finding a job sucks! ROARS.

Totally looking forward to the next almido outing(:

and what can i say, back to work. it's recess week this week (THANK GOD) and exam week next week (OH MY GOD!)

hello everybody! MS DEMURE is BACK!

HELLO HELLO! Before I start rambling on... GIVE ME A BIG WIDE SMILE =D
woow! I seriouslly needed that! Goodness I am blogging at work (IN THE OPEN. PRETTY OBVIOUS) and that's cos I AM FALLING ASLEEP!

Realised i havent visited the blog for a pretty long time. That's cos i havent been going online often now that my internet connection (which I used to tap on my neighbour's) got cut off. Hence ever since then I never really used the internet at home. except if i have an assignment to do. so so if you guys havent noticed, I am pretty much an MIA-er on MSN. HIAK HIAK. but thank god for iphone. I check my FB every like hour or so? i m a facebook addict. craps!

ANYWAY thanks shuangying, joel and huiting for blogging. Joel, next time leave your name leh. dun be a lu ren jia! hahahah. yeps!

P/s: HT, i hope you enjoyed your cambodia trip! one day i wanna go there mannnnnn. the padi fields just look so pretty!

SY, only read your emo blog now. well. along the way we may meet ppl that we dun really understand. and there's almost always definitely gonna be stuff that doesnt have any reason or answer to it. but you know take all things in your stride and dun be too affected! SMILE!

Sy is getting a little emo-y.

How can someone you know just change within the span of 1-2 months?
I simply don't know.

How can someone who was once called good friends with me changed?
How can that person just think that I am someone annoying that annoyed her from germany back to singapore? In what way was I annoying? I think I was more annoyed with her behaviour of being annoyed with me. The bad treatment I got from her, I will never forget.
How can that same person think that I am out to cheat her money? The bill speaks the truth. I'm not the bank which issued the bill.

How can something change so fast?
Personally, sy really doesn't think it's her. But its just her friend who seemed to be on a regular PMS mood after going to germany. U like staying and not travelling, ok good, so stay and don't travel. U miss Sg when u are there and says it's bad over there and turn around when you are back in sg you say u miss it there.

How contradictory are you?
How many faces do you hid beneath you?

What did sy do to be treated so badly by you?
Sy simply doesn't know. And sy thinks that even if a person is irritating, you should not take out all your temper on that person. Simply tell that person what's the problem and if he or she does not change, then you may show your temper. To show your temper without even letting someone know what's wrong? That's just childish and lame.

Sighs.
Such an emo post.
Sy just read her tweets from long ago and had a sudden impulse to post on twitter.
Nothing more, nothing less...

I guess, sometimes in life, people like that come and they go...
It just leaves me bewildered as to what happened? But you know, I concluded that I should be bigger than her. Whoever is childish will remain childish I guess...

And I guess I will really just keep wondering what really happened...

It seems that everyone is busy with exams and all, and so sy shall update this blog.
I wonder if anyone is checking it during exam period??

Firstly I heard that tj san is sick! I hope you are feeling alright!!!! Rest more please! Sleep early and don't be a panda!

Thanks to ht for helping me to download 3 articles on sciencedirect too!!! But i must tell you your 110mm film doesn't seem to be available in the shops in my town. If you can find that a german website sells it, then I can order and ship it over to my house.

Wendy!!! Your message to terence, quarrelling over fb, aiyoooo tsktsk 打情骂俏!!! Hahaha joking! Miss you too! I guess you are still a tv freak! Hahahha

Michelle, hmmm do you read this blog? I always wondered and I guess I will know if I see you reply on this blog... I was reading your messages in the diary and you wrote some of them in german, I think your german must be better than me now! My german cui-ed during the period of may to august when I didn't use it at all. And I was reading my german notebook that I've brought over but not touched in ages and did some polishing on my german, so you are my motivation man!!!

Terence, my housemates commented that you are handsome! They were looking at my diary and saw that I have sweet friends! Hahaha.

Russel, you are included in the handsome part too!!! They commented that you guys changed their view of singapore men! HAHAHA maybe because they only see my other 2 guy friends here.

Joel, how are you man! Don't worry, you are one of the handsome ones too. How's your love life! Don't be too troubled aye, let nature take it's course yeah!

YSL, I hope you are feeling better, don't know what to say to you too but yeah, anyways my housemates saw your picture and said they want to know you if they ever go to singapore cos you look so friendly! And ya you are one of the good looking ones too!

Speaking of which, almido guys are all handsome, and I hope I'm not inflating your ego too much!

Ohhh and I saw russel's creative picture on the blog! It's really very very cool!

I'm still stuck at the last section of my DIARY that you guys gave me. Heeheee.

Some updates on sy's activities: She went to prague during last weekend and she finished one of her many exams in school and is currently doing her papers that she has to submit soon... or at least she is trying to do without her many distractions hahaha!

Sy also went to a party to experience how it is like. And she realised that she doesn't like it. =S
Dancing on the dance floor and drinking beer is not a life cut out for sy alas.

Snow is COOL and COLD!!! What else... hmmmmmmmmmm well sy love you guys lots lots yeah! Hang in there during the exams! (I guess it may be over for some of you guys already!) After exams, have fun and if you have the money and time, fly over to visit me! HAHAHA!!!

Woah I realised it had been quite long since I last come to the blog and there are so many updates. Cool! Awesome!=)

And I missing Almido though I'm in Singapore!=X

The times we do projects together, the times we mug together and the times we have outings/bdae celebrations together!

Projects right now are killing me! It is so much crazier than in nus! *faints*

Presentations presentations and more presentations...

Lectures really end exactly one week before exams. So it is really exactly one week to mug for exams=X

I miss the times in NUS which there are possibilities that lectures end earlier and there are more time to mug.

I miss the times in NUS which almidos can get together and mug! Let's mug together again=) Our exams week and reading week start the same.

And let's have more outings before I fly to cambodia!=)
