Miss Demure's post.

Since everyone has been busy and there's has been no new posts, the lovely & unbelievably nice MISS DEMURE shall do the honour! (: (:

School started! GAAAAA.. In in a twinkle of the eye (now now, i remembered I used to use this phrase so very often in secondary school essays), two weeks have passed! AND Shucks-- TUTORIALS are starting. Time to get my butt onto the chair- home chair/ library chair whatever chair I can find to do mu tutorials.

Today, in my conversation with an exchange student from Korea and from my retail management class, we randomly touched on the topic of free days within a school week. For her, it will be the day she finds herself with a group of friends, going to the much cheaper karaoke in Korea, singing her lungs out! (well, not every week, but at least 2 times a month, she will be out chilling with her friends). When the question was directed at me, my response was: "Uhhh, my free day is spent hmmm, rushing tutorials for the rest of the week, doing past tutorials of the week and yes, Project meetings!"

Now, if I were her, 2 things would run through my mind. Either I would think the girl in front of me is a slacker, or that she's really busy. Yes, there you go, 2 extremes. (I hope for the latter though. It's important to leave a good impression no?) HAHA.

Anyway, MISS DEMURE would just to comment that she is not a very very extremely busy business girl, but she is just not very efficient in using her time. (You can derive this if she tells you she is watching tv now. time check: it's 11.40pm now and has been watching tv straight since hmmm, 7pm? =X when she has piles of tutorials undone, lecture notes not read and textbooks not flipped. She is a total TV addict. Gaaaaa. and her daddy has been nagging at her for the past 3 days. Just don't allow her onto the tv sofa and everything will be fine.)

Just to share something interesting/ embarrassing/ disturbing today (well, depends on how you categorise it). Miss Demure was selling her textbook today and as usual she was late and she made the poor girl wait outside lt 17. Soo, she being demure and shy and was embarrassed upon reaching lt 17 late that she decided not to call and to approach the girl directly. She went up to this girl who seemed to be waiting for someone and asked :"Hi, are you buying textbook?" The girl looked at her WIDE-EYED, gave her an awkward look and said "NO". Ahhhhh.... so embarrassingg!!!
And so the story goes, please call the person when selling textbooks.

Hope it all livened up your spirits a bit. even if it was only by a teen weeny bit. I know that everyone is stressed up with schoolwork, pissed off with lecturers, irritated with module bidding. blah blah blah. in the midst of all unhappiness, one suggestion. stop your pace. have a break. take a breather and look up to the skies. you will realise that actually the world isn't a very bad place after all. Life still goes on, the clock still continues ticking.

One year ago, this period was when we had our many many lunch meetings in school, our ever random outings to different corners of Singapore. As everyone get caught up in work, almido may not have that much time for gatherings like we had in the past. But don't be disheartened cos it's the heart that links everyone together. Simply said, it's the emotional connection <3

It's all about Almido
