wendy and her seattle life

Don't feel like using my alias name today, so I shall revert back to ms wendy(:

Anyway, you guys must have just finished your midterms~ hope everything went well (: if it did, YAY! if it didn't, work even harder (but dont forget to play alright?)

Life is a rat race. We constantly strive to keep up ahead, fighting to reach whoever and whatever's in front of us. After a while, we all get stuck into a routine, shuffling between school and work, more school and more work. Someday along, we'll probably come to a realisation that there's really much more that we wanna accomplish outside school work, but that time is not on our side. After all, we only have 24 hours a day, nobody has more and nobody has less.

Now, a bit into self-reflection- Going on exchange is really awesome. Awesome in a way that I not only can experience all the new sports- like skiing, snowboarding, caving, etc, but it takes my mind off stressful studying because grades are no longer considered as important. It really makes me wonder why I study so hard in NUS, depriving my own student life from fun and exploration. But the answer then again retorts back- because I wanna get good grades, and that is my very priority as a student. It all boils down to a tricky issue, one that involves proper balancing and priorities shifting.

I have become an advocate of going on exchange and yes, to see the bigger world outside and to experience a whole new culture~

To end off, I love you guys loads and I really wish you guys are having a hell of a time in Singapore too! =D
