STUCK
stuck at seattle airpor t for 5 hours and COUNTING.
was suppose to catch a United flight from seattle-sanfran at 910am, in time to catch a connecting Cathay flight from Sanfran to Hongkong at 135pm. Flight in seattle got delayed initially by an hour, and by luck, the Cathay flight also got delayed by an hour. so well, i thought i could make it. but seems like a NO-NO. It has been 5 hours and I am still stuck at Seattle. Missed my connecting flight to hongkong and there is no way I can talk to any Cathay operator because today is SUNDAY and they are not working.
At this point of time, you may be wondering what happened!
Apparently some birdie struck the plane when it was about to land. That caused the reversal engine to be stuck and they cant seem to close it. Initially the plane was said to be delayed for an hour till 1030am, then 1130am then 12nn, and thereafter they gave up on informing, indicating only a 'DELAYED' sign. It's now 230pm(: woots.
They just announced that we can start boarding in 10min. but it doesnt help. cos I have missed the connecting Hongkong flight anyhow. Ohwell, what can I say. an interplay of events, unfortunate events.
poor bird, poor pilot, poor customers, poor workers, especially those at the customer service. imagine the number of angry faces they would have to handle, the many connecting flights they have to arrange becos of the birdie.
Hopefully I can get the next earliest flight to hongkong which is at 120am. that means i have to spend 8 hours in transit slacking off. worse thing is there is NO FREE WIFI at san fran airport. OHHHHHHHHH... just be nice and let me get onto the 120am flight, if not, the next flight would be at 130pm- 20hours in transit without internet- i will literally DIE. HAHHAH.
toddles. i hope i can board soon.
i feel so bad to my friends who's picking me up at the hongkong airport. they are so gonna be disappointed. yikes. and i cant seem to contact them! they will be making a wasted trip to the airport. i hope they get my emails. hmphs.
